Bernard Maury-Aveline

Bernard started with us in February 2026. He completed his Master of Laws at the University of Oslo in the spring of 2025. His Master’s thesis is entitled “Sentencing in search cases – the importance of young age”. Bernard works mainly with criminal cases, is a French-Norwegian citizen and has an international and multicultural background.
In the Civil Department of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, Bernard worked with legal studies, analysis and consultation processes.
Bernard also has over 20 years of experience from Norwegian and international private business, including as an engineer, general manager, operations and sales manager, board member and authorized financial advisor. He has experience with contracts, risk management, project management and international negotiations. This background gives him a solid commercial understanding in legal assessments.
